Well, it depends...flowers work, or making them their favorite food.

That's not a bad answer, I suppose.

Hugs are also a good idea I've found.

What if those aren't good enough?

That depends entirely on the situation at hand...

But I imagine this as something to do with your sister.

Possibly.

...So do I. But I don't know how to begin helping her with - with what's going on. It's something we seem to have a fundamental disagreement about.

That is a difficult question.

That's why I asked it. Easy questions are just boring.

Specifically, something that will last. It can be a material thing, but - there should be meaning behind it.

No, it doesn't. I suppose I should have expected an answer like this.

Thank you for the suggestions, I guess.

Eh? What's with this question out of the blue?

I just said it, didn't I? I'm curious.

I don't know... Flowers or something? I'm not good with this kind of thing.

That seems to be a popular answer. Why would you get something so short-lived to make someone happy? They'll just be dead in a week, and there goes your effort.

I was hoping someone would mention things that...leave more impact. Things that last longer. But it seems as though everyone else is as clueless as I am about this.
