Random Observation of Human Nature

Has anyone else ever noticed that the "small car" spots in malls, McDonald parking lots, and similar places are almost exclusively always filled up with big honking SUVs and the occasional sedan, while the Jettas, Echos, and Smart Cars of the world are parked further away in the normal parking spots?
