You really are killing me! But in the "Oh so well done" kind of way. :) The story is beautifully written, the flashbacks are perfect, and I could pick out a thousand things I love along the way, but this one really caught my attention, and stopped my breath for a moment:
She took that blood, absorbed it, and now she didn't seem to want to give it up, keeping hold of it as if it was meant to become part of her very fabric. Keeping Sam with them even in death.
Another beautiful installment. More lovely sound bites ...
this: His father didn't allow panic. Fear was okay, fear could teach him things, fear could be overcome. Panic was unproductive and forbidden. --- Spot on John characterization.
this: Then Dad came back from the hunt he'd been on and Dean thought with the part of his brain that wasn't gibbering in panic that this was the worst day of his life, worse even than the striga. --- Liked the throwback to the Striga. And of course facing John with Sam being missing would be almost worse than the fact itself. Almost.
this: Dean goes back inside the cabin. He stands and watches Sam for what feels like a very long time. --- Iconic moment in AHBL II. That scene is implanted in my retina.

I think you just wanted "his jealousy in tequila."
The story so far is wonderful and sad and rich and compelling! Can't wait to finish.
