[ Anyone walking into the training center would hear a large crash, followed by repeated swears in multiple languages. Closer inspection of the crashes would find you encountering a highly pissed off Erik Lehnsherr, brows furrowed in a combination of both anger and confusion as his attempts to ward off what appears to be a giant dinosaur aiming for ( Read more... )

[For some reason, Marvelous can't turn down a person in need. Not that he would ever say that out loud.

But at the sight of someone failing to fight a T-Rexaur, the pirate captain just grabbed his gun and shot at it's thick hide, not enough to kill it but enough to injure and scare it away.

So as it retreats, Marvelous lowers his gun and turns his gaze over to the column.]

Oi. It's gone.

[There was an earth word for people like you that Marvelous has on the tip of his tongue. Pretty sure it was something along the lines of 'pretentious twat.']

There are similarities. But I've been around the universe and I've seen enough to know that there are worst things to be than an Earthling.

[ Idealistic is more like it. ] And pray tell, what would that be? Humanity is selfish, incapable of taking care of itself, let alone anything else. They torture for the sake of understanding, if you can call it that.

[Twat.] The problem is not the species itself. It's the individuals who think their species is better than another and will try to use their powers to prove it.

[And it's that kind of thinking that turned many planets into colonies for one military nation.

And now, he's tempted to walk away. Before he has an urge to use that fancy gun to pistol whip this guy in the face.]

Perhaps for you. [ He narrowed his eyes, feeling antagonistic by the moment with the man he spoke to. Erik in no way was about to let himself get lectured by someone else that a population could have some good in them; he had been at the hands of far too many people to even have the slightest bit of faith in redemption. ] My experience with humans have suggested otherwise. They're all the same.

[Seems they weren't going to agree on this point since coming to Earth, Marvelous had be surprisingly welcome despite that he was a wanted criminal across the universe. Funny how those things happen.]

Doesn't matter to me if you've met some bad humans, there's always going to be bad people on any planet you go to, just like there are good people in any world if you bothered looking.

But, each species will always have it's idiots too.

[And he's done. Don't go get eaten by a T-Rexaur again cuse he ain't gonna save you a second time.]

Space me the lecture. Unless you've seen what I have, you have no right trying to impose your values onto me. Keep it up and you're just like them. [ It's a threat; Erik growls slightly at the fact that someone else just tried to suggest otherwise to him. How dare anyone -- even someone different -- try to justify anything society had done. They'd all go down the same route.

He turned around, heading out of the training center. If Erik ran into the man again, there would be problems. Bigger ones than going after a dinosaur and damned if his abilities were going to falter that time. ]
