As I said, I'm baffled. But the actual feat of the holidays is having finihed "The Child". I sometimes feared it would never come to that.

Of course, I still have to type up the last two chapters, and then pray that the person who's offered to beta won't jump the ship in the last moment, as it has happened before repeatedly, but it's done, and that's what counts.
