Well done. I don't get to enjoy your writing too often, given the fact that I don't watch 95% of your fandoms. This, though, I understand and thoroughly enjoyed. Wonderful characterization, enjoyable references, brilliant voice. Oh Elaine. Oh, oh Elaine. I love the way you take the Neighborhood of Make Believe and bring Ann into it, and bring the Neighborhood of Make Believe into Ann's Real World, with Provincetown and furniture and "THAT Ann M. Martin?" and and and.

Also, you mentioned IKEA. IKEA owns my heart. God do I love IKEA, and queers. And writers. IKEA, queers, writers. And carousels. IKEA, queers, writers, carousels. So happy.

I'm going to go hug this fic. I want more, but at the same time I'm not sure I do, because of how well it works and how brilliantly it stands on its own.

Even more than the content of the fic itself (although as far as that goes I have nothing but praise), I love the fact that you wrote it. Just the fact that this fic exists is a glorious thing.

I didn't love Lady Elaine all that much watching the show - but then, she was one of your more villainous characters - but like the idea of her.
