Evan hummed a little to himself as he made his way through the Village, nodding at people if they recognized him but otherwise keeping to himself. He didn't want to talk to anyone, sure that with just one word of conversation, all the courage he had built up would shatter and he'd have to turn around and forget about his goal entirely.

His goal.

Evan swallowed thickly, feeling his face heat up as he remembered the night before. Images from the video kept dancing around his head, making it difficult to complete even the simplest of tasks. Hell, it had taken him ten minutes just to tie his shoes because the moment he bent over he would get a random flash of something from the video, like Johnny kneeling on the bed, or Johnny panting desperately with his eyes squeezed shut, or Tanith kissing Johnny's neck, and then Evan would have to lean back and breathe deeply for a while, using every technique Frank had ever taught him about clearing his mind
