[typically asuna comes over every morning to make saleh breakfast, and today's no different--even if she did wake up... without her voice. she's a little confused by that, thinking she might have gotten sick, but she certainly doesn't feel like it. her next guess is karalis being dumb again, so she intends to ask saleh about it when she goes over to his room. usually he's already awake and waiting for her, but this time she doesn't see him right away. she searches the room until she finds him...]

[ ... staring blankly at his electric toothbrush as he turns it on and off in the bathroom. He doesn't even look up when she reaches the doorway. He just goes to turn the tap on and stare blankly at the water he's wasting. ]

[ Now, he should've known it was Asuna, seeing as she's the only person who has free access/bothers to come to his room. However, his mind was on high alert, with the loss of one of his most important senses, and he acts instinctively.
