I finally have a driver's license.

8 years behind everyone else.

That is all.

The graduate thesis is...coming along.  Two chapters done, progress on three more.

I just need to force myself to sit down and WRITE.

Auditioning for Jeopardy tomorrow in Lexington, KY.

My recital went very awesomely...my theory professor said that my program was "very ambitious", and all of my performers did amazing.  Now to write the 30-page paper that goes with it, which is what I'm supposed to be doing during the summer term.

I went to see the GCC Touring Choir this past Friday...they made a tour stop at a Methodist church about 10 minutes from me.  I only recognized maybe 5 names and about 3 faces...sad day, but one of them had been in Koinonia when they came to Cincinnati, so we got to hug and reminisce a little.  Big advantage was talking with Dr. Browne, who ( Read more... )

I attended my third annual gaming con at the University of Dayton this past weekend (theme this year: Wrath of Con).

Played in my first Paranoia oneshot, which was actually pretty good considering the distinct lack of gc_storyteller.  One character was really trigger-happy and had about 4-5 teamkills by the end of the session.  But one time she had a slight mess ( Read more... )

So after watching the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie again recently, I concluded that the last half hour of the movie is much more believable if you assume that all the major players are high-level Eclipse castes.
