So clearly, either it says something about my brain, or my interpretation of Pete and Ashlee and their relationship, or quite possibly both, that I honestly thought that the "Bronx" in Bronx Mowgli Wentz was a reference to the dog-like pet Bronx from Gargoyles for at least a good hour before I realized I was the only person on the entire internet

You're definitely not the only person who thought that, dude (*raises hand*).

I think he was actually conceived in Brooklyn, but there's at least one other Brooklyn already in his generation/his parents' circle of celebrity families, so they picked the next one over.

Plus, "Bronx Wentz" sounds better than "Brooklyn Wentz."

Oh good, because it was a good twenty minutes after I read the news that I even thought "Oh, or maybe they mean the Borough".

I like Brooklyn Wentz. And I stand by my assertion that Brooklyn was the hot gargoyle. But, yeah, can't have people thinking they're copying the Beckhams. :P
