I also find that I feel more up for the day after working out. It's why I go so early in the morning even though I hate being awake at that time.
I would note that you should be careful going as low as 1200 calories. I've been doing a lot of reading on this lately with my own push and I've found that someone about your weight and height should take in about 2200 calories a day to maintain where you're at. Going much below 1800 to begin with might kick your body into starvation mode, which would be counter productive. This calculator can give you a good idea of what you'd need to eat to maintain.
Which isn't to say that I haven't lost a lot of weight quickly in the past by working out three times a day and eating almost nothing. It'll just be harder to keep off that way.
Great job! Couple things I have learned: -stay away from white foods (white rice, white bread, white pasta, white potatoes, popcorn, white salad dressings, Alfredo, etc) -brown is your friend (whole wheat bread, brown rice, etc) -drink lots of water and get enough sleep.
That's awesome, Wiccy! I hope it helps you sleep, too. Exercise is supposed to help regulate sleep patterns....
I've been riding my stationary bike at least 1/2 hour a day, (I've only missed a couple because I was hurting too bad to move at all) and doing laps at Coney with the kids every other day. The deep end is 50 meters, IIRC, and I've managed to do 8 at once, so I figure I'm doing pretty well. I still have bad days, and I shuffle like I'm 80 years old when the weather turns or something happens, but I'm trying!

If my brain would cooperate, I'd be golden.
