I was SO stoked to see the new Star Trek trailer on TV last night. I had to verbally put the smackdown on Patrick for thinking Chris Pine was Matt Damon. Silly man.

I've always been more of a Star Wars fan than a Star Trek fan... I rarely watched the Trek TV shows, but have seen most of the movies. This one looks pretty darn good, though! It will be nice to see some "classic" Trek. :-)

I am not a fan of the extended Star Trek universe. I like the movies (except for #1) and was a HUGE fan of ST:TNG, but I didn't watch Voyager or Enterprise or Deep Space 9.

Yeah the prequels were made of fail totally...and I know the acting's never been that great, but WOW...it was REALLY bad in the prequels. Oy!

I used to argue that Hayden Christensen was a good actor who just got jobbed thanks to Lucas's sucky dialogue... And then I saw Jumper. :-/
