Hey, an update!

I haven't been in much of a writing mood lately, and my LiveJournal updates have become few and far between - with the exception of the Project 365 stuff, of course. I'm still amazed that I've kept on top of that for this long! Though I need to build up a better buffer. I usually write the week's entries all at once on Sunday night. If I could just ( Read more... )

Me too... She gets so excited! And her favorite path is behind and around the couch - sometimes it seems like she's doing laps!

You are a silly boy! We got that flier in the mail on Monday too. My mom threw it out last night, but of course, had to read it to me on the way to the garbage can. Phoebe is funny! Barron would look at you like you were on drugs.

Good job on that Halloween candy! You can do it :-)

I wish I could make the trip up north with you (if you end up going), but my leave time SUCKS BOOTY! I got my leave time print out last week and I have 12.46 hours remaining for 2008. So that doesn't leave too much wiggle room for vacays :-( The longer I am here it will get better :-)

LY lots!

I'm going to have a big ol' Obama sign in my front yard for the next time your parents come over... ;-) Hehe nah, just kidding. To each their own!

So far, so good with the Halloween candy. I think I'll make it, too... I just have to resist the temptation to "just have one." Once the damn bag is open, it's all too easy to turn one into several.

12.46 hours... They can't even round up and give you 12.5?? Ugh. :-( I wish I could transfer some of my hours to you!

LY lots, too!

She's an awesome dog. :-) I really lucked out! Speaking of... Are you still planning to get a little pup?

Any advice on things to see/do in Boston?

I keep mentioning and he keeps shooting me down...part of me sees why...I mean, one of us would have to spend lots of time in the very beginning at home with the crate training and whatnot...then also we'd have to come home during lunch and it takes each of us at least 20 minutes each way...so there are cons...but there are also pros...I think it's just a matter of me driving him crazy until he has to say yes haha.

Hmm...it was rainy the whole 3 days we were there and to be honest we only had one full day to sightsee so...can't say much. I would say you should walk around the Harvard area...LOTS of cool restaurants and shops and bars!

Yeah, it's tough with all the training in the beginning, but once you get past that it's SO nice! Dogs are the best. :-) The 40-minute round trip commutes would suck, though... Maybe you could switch off days with Ryan? Or... How open is where you work? Would they object to you bringing the dog in with you (with a crate, of course). That's what my uncle did when he got his puppy - he works at a hotel down in West Palm Beach.
