I was on my way back from the gym, and I noticed that everyone in my turning lane was swerving to the right as they made their turn. The reason? There was a laptop lying over toward the left side of the lane! I checked it out when I went by; I could see the Gateway logo on top and the thing looked to be in really good condition. Heck yeah... My hope was that it would just start up after I snapped the battery cover back on! Guess I'll never know... Definitely something worth crossing the street for, though!

I knew that someone would make that joke! :-P A free laptop would've been nice, but not getting it isn't the end of the world. I still plan on buying one for myself later this year! I'll probably do my taxes this weekend and if I get a nice, fat refund, I'll start seriously looking at brands.
