I don't believe obesity is an addiction, in the traditional sense anyway. People always have a choice and it's your fault if you make the wrong one. Those people started out normal, ended up eating a lot and didn't stop. It's like being addicted to smoking, you know its bad and you could stop after that first time, but you don't because you don't think you'll get addicted. I don't feel sorry for people with so called 'addictions', there is always a choice. (this also applies to people addicted to drugs, no sympathy from me).
