Update on Doctor Who 50th Anniversary e-Stories by Puffin Books

Further to the item posted last week by comm member persiflage_1 regarding the series of 50th anniversary Doctor Who e-shorts to be written by well known children's authors:

The author of the first story, featuring the First Doctor as played by William Hartnell, has been revealed as Irish author Eoin Colfer, best known as the writer of the Artemis Fowl series

Ohhh, that's gonna be fantastic! I've read his contribution to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series and ohhhhh, I am doubly excited now!

I'm glad to hear it. :) As I say, I'm not at all familiar with Mr. Colfer's work, not even his Hitchhiker's continuation, so I can't intelligently comment, but he seems to be highly-regarded in his field.
