I've said since I arrived I disliked the idea of an Elevator 'choosing' to spirit away a victim.

Strangely, this place I found myself in proved extremely useful. I suppose a thank you is in order to whomever arranged for that. Perhaps gods, Edens, and Faceless Friends alike move in mysterious ways.

Nowhere I planned to go, but likely a place I was meant to be - for a time. It was strangely refreshing on my mind, for being so taxing on my body.

Gods are scarce here I've found - I was referring to where I'd come from, if it's the divine you're curious about.

I suppose that I am. It's no cheerful thought, to suppose that this place has no gods, although better than to think we're now obligated to worship gods not our own.
