I feel like this is on the tip of my tongue - I was watching an episode of season 7, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic where Pinkie Pie investigates a theft (I think? Pinkie Pie is not my favourite pony). Anyway, she's wearing a deerstalker hat and puffs on a pipe that blows bubbles. I've seen this before - maybe in another cartoon or on Sesame

That's a pretty standard cartoon trope. Just Google Image Searching pulls up Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, and Tom and Jerry images. And there was, of course, The Great Mouse Detective back in the day.

Not to mention Sokka in an episode of Avatar: the Last Airbender--in a universe that could not possibly have produced a Sherlock Holmes for him to reference.
