Sounds kinda like the music at the beginning of Beauty and the Beast. Which I think was inspired by something else but I'm not sure what.

(btw I mean the Disney version) I had to think about it for a while, but then I started "hearing" the music in my head, and then suddenly I recited "Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince lived in a shining castle..." and then thought "That's it!"

i listened to it constantly while i was making a compilation trailer for my oscar party, so i knew EXACTLY where it was from. but the rest of the song leads me to believe it is an actual song, and i wish i knew what it was...
