Even with all the weird things that have been going on and the permanent reminder that I can't leave this place, I'm starting to feel like I'm starting to get used to being here.

And I'm not sure I like that feeling.

Well... it's better than feeling anxious all the time.

I guess so. It just sort of feels like a wake-up call when you find yourself calling the place you stay at here 'home', when your home is actually in another dimension.

Yeah, I definitely get what you mean. But you might as well make the best of it if you can...

This place is awesome! Befriend some aliens if you get lonely or something! BD

Aliens? Wouldn't it make more sense if I befriended other humans instead?

But aliens are awesome too! They're always around and help you with the groceries!

They help you with your groceries? What sort of aliens have you been hanging out with?

Call me old-fashioned, but the aliens I'm thinking of aren't exactly keen on doing housework.

Man, believe me when I say you never get used to being here.

Well, I meant getting used to the general environment and city layout - not the freak snowstorms and the like.

Just wait until you go to the super market and suddenly you're in a bathroom or something. The layout likes to screw with people, I'm convinced.

The only constant here is the fact that nothing's constant.

Humans tend to adapt to their situations like this. Living here for over six months has proved that.

You've been here over six months?

Several of the others have been here for a year, I think--but yes, I've been here for around six months.

If one could grow accustomed to inconsistency, that would be the most appropriate way to describe living here for any length of time.

Oh, poor thing. This is really such a miserable place, I don't know how anyone stands it.

I don't know about you, but it feels like I've grown numb to it after a while.

There just isn't no way I could ever get used to it. I'm half out of my skull with loneliness.
