I honestly don't know what to say after this...

It ruined me, then slowly put me back together; every word woven together to complete a perfect story in every way. I am absolutely flabbergasted and I really wanted to leave an amazing comment that would convey to you how much I absolutely love and adore this story but I cannot relay my feelings to you in words. So just know that my heart is fluttering harshly in my chest and many times had to prevent myself from just absolutely breaking down in the middle of my university library.

The characterizations, the friendship between T'Pring and Spock, and even down to the connection between Bones and Spock; when he put his fingers against Spock's meld points to get him to feel his calmness... it nearly broke me at how perfect this interaction was. Bones' subtlety of affection and Jim's blatancy, and Spock's desperate need for self-preservation, even when he was in dire need of help.

Flawless. And bookmarking forever. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece <33

:D :D :D

I'm so glad this resonated with you in such a big way. I'm flattered and happy, especially when I was so nervous about this story in the first place. It doesn't exactly have the makings of something K/Sers are liable to read.

The Spock-T'Pring friendship was something I really wanted to bring forth as the core of this story, even while Kirk/Spock and Stonn/T'Pring were an inevitability, and I hope I was successful.

Thanks so much for giving this a chance, and for the incredibly kind comment. <3

This was amazing, as you well know. :) I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it until I re-read it, but everyone involved is actually a person, not a character. Vulcans have their own culture (very rare in fic) and both T'Pring and Stonn were good and honorable instead of caricatures. Everyone chose exactly as they should have, and that's a rare thing in fics that deal with pon farr. Seems like someone is always betraying someone else. XD

Anyway, a very excellent fic, worthy of being a big bang. Possibly the only big bang I'll read. :)

Stonn and T'Pring need more fandom love. Amok Time is actually an epic Vulcan love story - defying millenia of tradition to be with each other. Why is ST fandom not awash in Stonn/T'Pring romance, I ask you?

Thanks, as ever, for everything, friend :D

This was such a brilliant story! I've read a bunch of stories about Spock's Pon Farr, and I think it's the first time I've read one on Stonn's. It was a really great idea and I enjoyed reading T'Pring's point of view. Also, Kirk/Spock forever! ♥

This was so wonderful. Really intensive exploration of emotions and tradition and change after the great disaster, and with beautiful language, too. Loved it. Thank you so much for sharing. :-)
