They pissed on the bed! Well, one of the cats did, anyway.

They p i s s e d on the b e d. Again. The Tempurpedic mattress. The Tempurpedic foam mattress. THe foam mattress that does not appear to have a water (piss) proof mattress pad.

Arrrrrgh!

OMG..you know that is not an odor that can be removed...eliminated or cleaned...ugh!

I totally, and completely, feel your pain. Unfortunately, Ginsie (the dog) is mine and she had a UTI so I couldn't really yell at her much when she did that. Short of bleach, there isn't much you can do.

Go to Petsmart and get a urine eliminator. They sell them-it works. There are a number of brands. Get one for urine and cat odor. Cat urine smells due to the high concentration of ammonia. That and cats smell.

Soak the offending area and blot. Turn a fan on it and do it again later.

Can you shut the bedroom door to keep them out? If not, have you tried tapping them on the nose to express your displeasure? I had to do that with Sasha several times when she was alive - she didn't like it, but she liked having me mad at her even less, so she tried not to do anything to piss me off (too much).
