I was going to order my sand in matching wedding colors from Moonglow Candles - because they could match David's Bridal colors. But even though their sand is pretty cheap ($3.75 per pound), shipping was almost $12.

I had originally planned to order this set of vases from Weddingstar.com for our sand ceremony. They are beautiful. But, I hadn't looked at the price, and quickly realized I could be spending around $90 once I shipped them, engraved them, and also ordered sand. I tried finding them on ebay, and I found several, but they still were at least $45.

My fiance and I will be having a sand ceremony in place of the traditional unity candle ceremony. So until recently I never considered having music at my beach wedding, since it was on the beach. However we ended up finding a PA system that has a 12 hour battery with a mike, so boom, I have a PA for my officiant and the possibility for music!
