Yeah, I'd want my pictures first and foremost. I would be devastated if this happened to me.

I was very upset at first but it's been going on so long now. I hope we can get our money back at LEAST. If we do, I plan to hire a different photographer for a couple of hours, get dressed up again and have a few photos taken. We do have all the photos from our guests, but nothing professional. *sigh*

It is very foolish - she's done all the hard work and all we need are the high res photos on a disk. I'm hoping we can at least get our money back, I'm not holding out for the photos anymore.

That SUCKS! Besides the fact that you're actually married to the love of your life, pictures are the next most important thing. (well to me at least, my memory is crap!)

Yeah, the whole thing has been pretty ridiculous. For me the photos were the most important thing besides actually being married, too. But we still have lots of photos from our guests, at least. And if we get our money but no photos, I plan to hire someone (reputable!) for a couple hours this fall and get dressed up again so we can at least have *something* wedding-y and formal.

I was going to suggest an accident or death, but I found her myspace page and she's logged in recently.

It's unfortunate that she's killing her business before she's really off the ground :/ Good luck to you, I hope at the very least you get your photographs.

Yeah, we were thinking that too for awhile. But she did contact us on Facebook a few weeks ago with an apology and saying our photos were in the mail... that went nowhere as well.

She was so professional and fantastic to work with, and talented. I have no idea what happened in her life. Even if she'd been straightforward with us and said something was going on and she needed some time I would have been glad to wait.
