I made some cupcakes earlier tonight, and I think that I'm going to serve them at my Victorian English tea party-themed wedding! It took forever to make those roses; about 30 minutes to make each rose (flattening the gumdrops, assembling them, making sure that the petals would actually stick together, etc., etc.). The time it took to make those roses was longer than the time it took to make all the other cupcakes, combined. Lol.

Before we decided to have a big wedding, I wanted to have a sweet Victorian tea party, and I even looked up regency dresses for days! :)

An easy way to make cream cheese frosting is to mix soft (room temperature) cream cheese in with vanilla frosting that you can get from the store. The cream cheese will cut out the sugary taste that canned frosting usually has, making it taste 100% homemade.
If you would like to make it from scratch, just take any easy vanilla frosting recipe, follow it, and then beat in the soft cream cheese afterward.
