I know we've got a few questions recently about eloping and today I stumbled over this: So you think you want to elope

Which is a personal account of someone who's gone through the process, dealt with the family issues and whatnot. Hope this helps someone!

Interesting article. I definitely couldn't elope w/o a ton of family anger (not that I want to). My fiance's parents did, b/c the courts here wouldn't give them a marriage license b/c they were interracial. Freaking jerks, it was AFTER the supreme court said they had to too!
