i definitely like #1 the best. the photos show a lot of emotion & look more detailed than some of the other photographers'. the pictures are all really fun shots & you can see the energy in them. i also like #3, very traditional and classic. i didn't like #2 at all, just not my taste. it seemed like a lot of the pictures on the website for #2 had people bending over in them... not sure what that is about. my overall feeling is a photog's website should be their A++ work, the pics that take your breath away & #2 didn't do that for me. just another thing, you might check with the photogs & make sure they don't have something in their contract about being the sole photographer. you say your friend is not professional yet, but at my good friend's wedding the photographer threw a big fit about a non-pro friend taking pics. she referred back to the contract the bride & groom had signed & made the non-pro friend delete every single pic he had taken. definitely something you want to discuss before the big day!
Yikes! Thanks for the input. :-) I did ask #1 if she would mind, because originally we were all set to book her. Then I got cold-photograher-feet and reconsidered #2 and #3. I will be sure to ask them as well.
I didn't notice that before about the bending over. haha!
I think I've been looking at them all too long, because they're kind of blurring together in my mind. Maybe that's making it extra hard to choose. Thanks for your thoughts!
I also like #1 best. Good quality photography and since it is best priced from all of them, I'd with with #1.
Although #3 has more colour, I think they do way too much post-effects on the pictures. A lot of them has too much photoshopping (e.g. blurring, paint overs, blowing out colours etc.), that it makes the pictures look rather fake. I vote #1.
