How to go from this to this
this is for Photoshop CS2
The original image was MUCH larger than this, but sized down for those on dial up.
First, duplicate your layer, desaturate at 50%, and set it to screen.
Duplicate again and set it screen 100% and desaturate completely.
Duplicate the desaturated layer and set it to soft light 100%.
Duplicate the original base,drag it to the top and set it to saturation 65%. You can leave this out if you want, but I liked it.
Now for the tricky part.
Duplicate the original base, drag it to the top again, and set it to colour dodge.
Looks pretty ugly huh? it will get uglier. Now, go to Go to the hue saturation window (ctrl-u) and up the saturation to 75%.
Now, enter quick mask, (there are other ways to do this, but this is the easiest) and using brush tool, select around the eyes.
Exit quick mask, and then there will be a selection around everything but the eyes. Delete everything but the eyes.

I picked this picture because it has a fairly solid background. I dont know what it would turn out like if you didnt have a solid background, but I dont think it would be that good...
Open the picture, and use the magic eraser til you get this
(the grey bits are transparent on my comp..)
Next, open a new document at 500x500
Then take a tiny text brush, make it really small and scribble all over the blank document. (YEAH I FOUND ANOTHER USE FOR TINY TEXT!)
Next, I copied the Billie Joe pic as a new layer. Then go to Blending Options>Stroke White, 5px.
Theres a little bit of white there so I erased it.
ALL THESE LAYERS ARE UNDERNEATH THE IMAGE LAYER
Next I cropped it
, and created a new layer and put this gradient in
, and set it to exclusion, 100%.
Then I created another new layer on top of the exclusion layer, used this gradient
, and set it to colour burn.
I took this brush
by meleada, and set it to soft light 100%.
Next,create a new layer and use this brush
also by meleadaat normal, in black.
Next, take this brush
(again, it was transparent) by genderin #054579, and set it to exclusion.
All resources not credited are still credited in my resources, but I just dont remember who's who's.
If that makes any sense..... -.-
This is just a suggestion, you dont need to copy it exactly. BE CREATIVE

This is for PS CS2
DONT USE THIS FOR ANYTHING WITHOUT CREDITING And comment if you do.
First take the picture and do everything in This tutorial up to the blue overlay layer.
Next, crop it at Width 70 Height 50.
Next, open this texture/base
Take this gradient (dont know who by) and set it to colour 100%. Duplicate it, and set it Multiply 100%.
Take this base? by gender and set it Darken 100%
Paste the cropped image onto it. Go to blending options, Stroke,1px in black and drop shadow on teh default settings.
Take this texture (again dont remember who) and set it to Soft light 100%
Next, I added "We are Alone" in German Underground in white, 16px, and then I stroked it with black and lowered the opacity slightly.
And thats it!
Hope it helped and gave a few ideas. If anything is unclear, jsut ask.
All the resources that I dont know, I have credited in my resource page, but I jsut dont remember.... ^^;

Second tutorial...will try to make more sense this time
Crop this image to this
Duplicate and set it to soft light at 100%.
Next take this texture
by _cooler,flip it horizontal and set it to lighten 100%
Create a new layer, fill it with #060552 and set it to exclusion.
next take this texture
and set it to Overlay 100% faded_icons made it
next make a new layer and take this brush
made by meleadain black and leave it at normal
Next use I used the font Arial Black in black for the text.
And thats it.

Set the bottom one to screen.
Set the 3rd and 4th to Soft Light and the 5th to screen again. Set the 5th to 44% but the others to 100%
Now, inbetween the 2nd and 3rd base copies, put this texture by colorfilter and set it to linear burn 100%
Might turn out like this.
Flip this texture texture horizontal and set it to Hard light 100% between the 3rd and 4th base copies. immoral made it.
You should have something like this.
Next use this brush by I dont know who
Then this brush, which I think is by chouchoune
Merge all and youre done!
