Holy crap, Kaygetsu, that's the best dinner I've ever had in my life.

Also, as nmapster, noise, and I were sitting there, enjoying the food, this being a place the two of them apparently just go to on a pretty regular basis, as though humans could earn that kind of grace, suddenly noise goes, "Is that Whitfield Diffie at the table behind us?" And it was.

I'll have to remember this. I'm staying in Menlo Park for a week pretty soon and I don't think my hotel has an in-house restaurant.

we were just reading about that place in zagat's top japanese restaurants book. sounds like we should give it a try!

Kaygetsu is indeed one of the best Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area and no one in SF knows about it! Bwahahahaha! I mean, um, glad you got to try it. :)
