When stereotypes bleed into self-parody

I got a flyer in the mail today from UW, promoting two open houses to check out apartments/condos for UW students. One of the open houses is today and the other is Saturday. Thanks, guys, I guess I'll pass. The buildings look nice enough in the pictures, but what caught my attention was the offer at the bottom. It reads:

It could have been worse, they could have offered a free spot to play bass in a grunge band.
