1. Erm, one of the feet fell off my iBook and I can't find it. I mean the little white (or grey, or dirty off-white) dots on the four corners of the underside, which cover up hidden seekrit screws. An option for the less-fashion-savvy is to buy extra feet (big box store, hardware store, or kitchen store should have them) and then cut one into the right shape/size. See also: the ghetto 45-adaptor i almost finished that one time i was out there.
At least i can take some solace in the fact that your foot fell off, in light of your going to Santa Cruz and getting In'n'Out. Oh double-double, how i long for thee!

I bought a 45 adaptor for $0.35 the week I got to Portland. There's a music store on Burnside that sells them. All I had to do was move 700 miles, and now I can play the three or four 7"s I own that need the adaptor!

They're usually "Adhesive-backed rubber feet" or maybe "standoffs" depending on what the marketing people decided they were for. A common application for the things is cutting boards, so if you can't find them, that's a good thing to mention to helpful employees.
