We saw BATS last night over the stadium while we were out feeding the feral cats. Real, live, bug-catching, fly-around-the-full-moon bats. Apparently they live all around here, which makes me wonder if I'm supremely ignorant to not have seen them in the area before or just haven't had the opportunity. Still. BATS. *_

Oh, there was one day a bat flew inside the Angelika theater. The manager was cowering and screaming like a little girl. Most amusing, but tragic end for the bat (accidental, I assure you)
