I guess I'll make the post I was going to make before I came home and talked to my wife on the phone for an hour and a half.

I've told some people already, but I found out from Alice-chan today that the reason we don't have role names for Bara ni Furu Ame is because THE SCRIPT ISN'T FINISHED YET

I think Susshii-san and Dai might have the most amusing answer. Because Susshii, dear, you've already had some pretty interesting wigs... and Dai, seriously, does someone have a crush on the nibante? ;-)

But the answer that made me tear up was Machami.

I can SO TOTALLY See Susshii-san with that kind of afro. She's wonderful in general, of course, but in particular she's a comic genius. In my opinion she single-handedly saved the play "Hotel Stella Maris" by making me and the audience crack up just by walking on stage.

(Now I'm giggling over the thought of her with an afro...watch, she'll find a way to stick one in a play soon...)

From the way everyone has been describing it, I think there may be flooding problems in the Daigekijou on New Orleans raku ;)

(After all, the first half sounds like a tear-jerker and given that the second half seems to be written to make you cry about Touko...)

P.S. And yet one more thing. Manda commented yesterday that she had heard on a Japanese message board that Sararan's part in Jazzy Fairies was rewritten after she announced her retirement. I wonder if something similar is going on. Anyway, just speculation.
