I... I think I finally got it.

The word 総スパン, which sounds for all the world like "saucepan" and has been bothering me for months on end...

I think it means MATERIAL COVERED IN SEQUINS.

Oh, I could have told you that. ^^;
By accident I got a Takarazuka a la Carte about 総スパン. Had I known what it is, I would not have wanted it. It's impossible to watch 30 minutes of BLINGGLITTERBLING without going blind. ^^;
