"Misha!" cried Jensen. "We thought you had died!" He wrung his handkerchief in his delicate hands, his face the picture of confusion.
Misha wiped grave dirt from his face and pinned them both with his piercing blue gaze. "It was merely a ruse to throw off my enemies!" he revealed, waving an impatient arm as if to toss off the conversation. "But there is no time to speak of such trivialities. I have come here to share with you a matter of the utmost importance--the truth about His Grace's family!"
Jared stepped up behind Jensen with a pensive moue, his broad shoulders set as if to brace himself against unhappy news. "What then, Misha," he spoke, voice low and rough, "is this awful truth to which you allude?"
Misha clapped a hand to his breast, looking pained. "Jared, it is simply this--that Jensen--dear Jensen, our bosom friend since our days at college--Jensen is the Duke's long-lost son, for whom we have all been searching for years
