Sometimes it hits me just how jaded we have become.

Technology is advancing so quickly that we just sort of expect it, take it for granted or focus on the continued minor inconveniences. A couple years back, I fell into a brief stint of all-consuming veneration of my iPod, not because I possess that all-too-prevalent consumerist need to flaunt ( Read more... )

Not that I know of. I mean, there's the Air Car, but that's still not a real fucking hover car.

I was somewhat obliquely referencing the paradoxical fact that, where other devices moved from wires to wireless (such as the telephone), the TV actually started out wireless from the get-go and has instead gone wired in the vast majority of homes.

I should have known, however, that there would be innumerable techie solutions to my dilemma by now.
