I would learn with you. I have never before wanted to knit but that would be so cute on kid's bookshelves. Hmmm. Maybe even on mine.

Maybe that should be our project when I get back. We could take a break from quilts and instead sit knitting and watching movies. :)

I was surprised by how cute I thought these guys were. I think they definitely may need a place on your shelves.

Gmail is giving me lots of knitting links ... we made need to make the little Green boy something fun, too. :) A funky sweater? Is that too girly? Maybe some itty-bitty mittens. Or a hat. Hmmmm...

maybe you should learn how to do it while you're gone? Surely you'll have more free time there than here? And a lapful of warm yarn sounds like something my "I hate the cold" friend would like.
