I read between 80 and 85 books last year, depending on how you'd classify graphic novels. Only 15 of them were adult fiction. Wow, huh? Yes, my job has stirred an interest in the young adult genre and yes, I enjoy YA immensely. However, having just finished Krakauer's Into the Wild, I know that I need to make a greater effort to read books

Along those same lines, I am keeping an eye open for another recommendation (by TexasWren), for a book called *Gallop!* by Rufus Butler Seder. I am also looking forward to reading your #1 book on that list....

And did you hear that Hugo Cabret got the Caldecott? That'll be all the more interesting when you find time to read it. It's a fascinating idea.
