I remember that from my 5th/6th grade teacher. ^^ We had to memorize it, and then turn in a mini-project around in. Very sage advice!

Oh yeah? That's a smart teacher for using that quote with you guys. ^^ It's a good thing to learn. I got it from one of the counselors at my internship. He likes to give a copy of the quote to his clients.

That really is the most important part of personal growth and peace, I have discovered. ^^ It's not *easy* to always be aware of your reactions and to choose them, but it makes all the difference in the world...
