Since I seem to be the last to comment on last night new episode of Veronica Mars, I'm going (as the lit professors like to say) put my responses "in conversation" with some other peoples thoughts.

( Sometimes I'm even persnicketier (including speculation but not spoilers so please do not spoil in the comments) )

Word, word and word, except the Beaver manipulation plot part. I'm still not convinced. I, too, didn't like how the dirrty references were so haphazardly used. Is it a case of contrived script writing? Some of the humour is becoming a little too slapstick to me. YMMV. I like my references subtle and smooth.
