After a very, very stressful 5 1/2 days of nearly tearing my hair out, of sending emails and calling the agents office and leaving messages, I just heard back from the property manager to say that the duplex is mine

They do. King and Gabaldon are pretty much the only authors I still buy for and will buy anything they publish as I love their stories so much!!

Yes. Am determined to take a lot less stuff to my next place. Have boxes I've never unpacked from 2 or 3 moves ago so it's not like I ever needed what's in them.

It's been a very stressful week or so. So glad I can move forward knowing I have a home and a moving deadline.

Phew, I'm so glad that's settled! The will-it-work-or-won't-it stress is so terrible; just knowing that this thing is actually going to happen and your LIVING SITUATION (kind of a big deal!) isn't in that terrifying liminal space is huge. I'm so happy for you!
