Last weekend five of us (arvi,ashu,basu,rohith n me ) had been to Sita nadi kayaking near Hebri. Sita Nadi Camp (Someshwara wild life sanctuary) is a 30min bus ride away from Udupi, 4km after the town of Hebri. People from adreno take care of arranging all activities here.
First day morning went for trekking to Koodala thirtha falls .

Yeah its very near to Udupi, around 34km.

I heard that some part of Malgudi days was shot here...Agumbe and surrounding places are really scenic..
