Tear finished typing her thought in her device and grabbed the keys for the room. Softly closing the door behind her and locking it, she looked down at her younger roommate and smiled.

"Let's go?"

Malik smiled back, completely happy.

"Yeah!"

The boy rushed to Tear, took her hand, and smiled. "Will you teach me how to cook? Big Sis said she'd let me watch her someday, but she's not here..." He frowned a little at the thought of his older sister, who was most likely still safe back in their underground home in Egypt. He wondered briefly if she was looking for him...of course she was, right?

His grip around his companion's hand tightened and he unconsciously moved a little closer to her. "...yeah! Let's go!"

Gently tighten her grip as well, she continued to smile.

"Sure I will."She said, noting his frown she gave him a soft pat on the head.

She walked down the street of the familiar road they took when she found him. Looking around, she reflected how much had changes since then. Not wanting to look depressed in front of Malik, she regained her smile and turned to him.

"Do you remember the way to the coffee shop, the one where I found you at?"

Malik nodded. Tear had told him when they met to keep an eye out for the signs around so that he could remember his way back to the hotel if he ever got lost. Grinning, he pulled a little ahead of Tear and led her around the streets of the business district, glancing at the signs every now and then to see if he was going in the right direction.

A few minutes later, he spotted the familiar sign and turned to face Tear, grinning triumphantly. "Found it!"
