My sympathies go out to ...

This week I decided that my fat and lazy abs needed a bit of a work out so that they could match the muscle tone of the rest of my body (you there! up the back! stop laughing and STFU!).  I do have a six-pack, it's in the bag with all of the other groceries ( Read more... )

Poor you - that sounds like no fun at all. I hope it's improving, and if it's not, I really recommend mersyndol - it contains a muscle relaxant - you need the night time version, but it's available over the counter. Valium is good too but requires a prescription.

And while I do suffer from period pain, and take very strong drugs for it - I have also put my back into spasm a few times and the latter is worse.

I've been thinking about you - like most other people in my life atm, you're overdue for a phone call. Hopefully I'll catch up on at least some of the phone list this weekend. Take care of yourself.

Alas this weekend is probably bad for me. Work, May Crown, Stilgherrian's 50th birthday and sailing plans probably means I won't be home much.

The muscles are much better this morning, thanks. The wheat pack and whatever it was that Sara gave me did the trick I think.

OMG! Take it a little easier next time... please!

I'm one of the lucky ones. No period pain, just a bit of a sore back and grumpiness as you've witnessed on occasion. Makes sailing not so fun.

Get better and take lots of long hot, hot, hot showers. Those Japanese know a thing or two.

awww, if I was there I'd offer some of my pain killers, but I hope it wasn't near that bad. Hugs

I'm not laughing at your pain. Honest. ;-)

Hang in there (re gym). It gets better.
