[So, it's the picture of an autumn day. The trees are all nice, warm colors, the grass is starting to follow suit, there's a gentle grey blanket of clouds across the sky making it uncertain as to just what time of day it is. Lovely, isn't it

[ Toeto hangs back for a few moments, trying to ignore the tiny growl of greed her stomach gives at the sight of all the candy at his feet. Scuffing her own, she slowly wanders over to him, tugging her hat over her eyes as usual. ]

Um... i--is it okay if I j--join in?

[Takes a moment to notice her, what with how quietly she speaks]

H'm? Oh, sure! The more the merrier, when it comes to things like this, eh?

O--okay!

[ She looks around for a suitable stick and plucks one off the ground at the foot of a tree. She wipes the end with her sleeve, then sits next to Piko. Spearing a marshmallow with her stick, she holds it over the fire to toast it. ]

I--it's cold today.

Proof of the seasons changing. Magnificent thing, isn't it? Being here to see the leaves change color and the grass gain a film of frost in the mornings as opposed to dew? The foliage I was accompanied with weren't really the type to change in colder weather except for, well, dying, which is quite the depressing sight. But this! This is just lovely and warms up your heart.

I am, very much so! I heard about these delicious things called s'mores and just had to try to make them properly! Marshmallow on a stick, over an open fire, all the atmosphere and everything! Care to join me?

Have a seat, then, there's plenty of mallows and chocolate to go around! Could probably feed an entire army, really.

Since I don't have to worry about things like rotting my teeth or gaining weight, I don't see why not.

It does, doesn't it? Nothing quite beats the smell of a freshly-cooked marshmallow right over an open fire, I find. Has this certain quality that you just can't replicate.
