You need to add like another pic to that image. Or else add "also Canadian" to the Ryan & Rachel image.

Thanks for the comment, but I checked with the other VM_Fic editors before doing so. Additionally, the fic of mine that I rec'd has already received multiple fanfic awards, given by fellow LJ users.

The fic fits the theme, and has been awarded the Most Original and Best Theme awards at 5thingsthat. I understand your concern, but I assure you that it is unfounded.

Yes, but the point of a fic rec post is to rec OTHER people's fic.

Well, the point of this community is to highlight quality fic that illuminates a particular theme, 'ship, character, etc.

It's not a democracy -- it's my community. herowlness, who assists me in selecting fic for this community, checked with me in this case, and with my go-ahead included her own work in this particular rec post.

If, in your opinion, things should be handled differently, I wish you the very best in your own reccing endeavours. If you start such a community, please let us know and we will be happy to list it on the vm_fic userinfo page.

If the extent of your contribution is to criticize both my fellow editor and my community's methods, I've heard your objection and my choices stand.

Thanks for reccing my fic, darlin'.

And had I had the presence of mind to do a "5 Things" rec post (general note: I am working on a rec post here that will go up at some point once I stop having stage fright and also maybe get a new job), I would have recced yours, because it is awesome.
