[ Replying before I really go for the night so I don't keep you two waiting.Suzaku was out in town with Euphemia, showing her around the place so she would get a lot more familiar with it. It was obvious that he was something like a tour guide for her. Just like when they had first met. It brought him wonderful memories thinking about it yet at the same time, it made his heart ache. After the tour, he began to lead her to the yellow beach house that he was quite sure Lelouch was now resting in. It was his new home. Or at least for now. He remembered how his violet - eyed friend continued to mention how he must return to his current time to take care of Nunnally and the Zero Requiem. He didn't want to think about those things. He just wanted to stay here because his most important people were present in this world ( ... )

[I curse the darn time difference D:]

Euphemia too was reminded of the first time she met Suzaku, though unike him, Euphy was only brought wonderful memories. She followed Suzaku back to the beach house. She walked in the door as Suzaku held it open for her and couldn't help but giggle a little as Suzaku seemed to have forgotten she told him she had been talking with Lelouch over the journals. Though she figured he probably forgot while showing her around Joie de Vivre.

"Wow, this is a nice home," she said mostly to herself with a smile as she looked around.

As everything about Joie de Vivre, this was both a blessing and a curse. He was so very grateful that his sister was back, so very grateful that Suzaku would have his princess again. But at the same time, he knew that couldn’t last. Zero Re;quiem was necessary. Schneizel would obey nobody but Zero. Nunnally needed her masked knight. Suzaku needed to live. The world of the living had to move on and Suzaku had a key role in it.

Still, he couldn’t help but offer Euphemia a genuine, penitent smile when he exited the kitchen, even if his eyes were sorrowful as he carefully avoided looking at Suzaku. Another lie, but a merciful one. He had been worried about the possibility that her Geass might still work after her death, but apparently she was just fine.

“It's a bit damp.” he informed her with a shake of his head. “My, you are late as usual.”

Suzaku thought that it was indeed a nice home to live in for the time being. It wasn't all that great, but it wasn't all that bad either. It was what they would call an average place to stay in until it was eventually his time to leave. Closing the door behind him after he entered, he noticed right away that Lelouch had emerged from the kitchen and one of the things he also noticed was that those bruised - colored eyes were not directed to him. Perhaps it was nothing. Maybe he was as excited as he was to see Euphemia appear out of nowhere in this world. That much he tried to convince himself anyway.

"Late?" He found himself saying as he raised an eyebrow, a slightly genuine smile crossing his lips. "Well, it's kind of hard to tell time here since it's always dark. Anyway, you shouldn't have been cooking, Lelouch. You're sick, after all." Suzaku stated as he shifted his attention to Euphemia.

"Why don't you have a seat?"
