Characters: Ricalna Forde eachpurpose & Minato Arisato lamentingxstasy When: Early afternoon, I think. What: Ricalna and Minato are exploring Joie de Vivre. Rating: PG-13
This world had no sun - which made this world gloomy, yet beautiful at the same time - Ricalna found that he was liking this world a little more than what others seem to have experienced so far. He told himself the reason why he seemed to like this place was because there was no war, no fighting for him to do.
Though Ricalna didn't ponder too much about his own personal likings for this world; because he was currently rushing over to meet up with Minato. He was glad that he remembered where the train station was at; and it didn't take him long to find Minato on the stairway where they first met.
"Minato!" Ricalna grinned just as he lifted a hand up to wave to the younger boy, "I hope you didn't wait too long?"
It was nice that the two came to a simple agreement, though Ricalna, at first, sometimes worried whether he was imposing things onto Minato. However, little by little the android came to a better understanding that Minato was the type of person who easily adjusted himself to any situation. Or at least that was what Ricalna was assuming so far...
He was in such a deep thought - Ricalna found himself thinking a lot today - that he nearly missed a very important building. The building was grand, very tall and wide, and was mainly brown with the modeling design of perhaps something along the lines of old; but it fit quite well with Joie de Vivre's setting.
"That has got to be the bank over there," Ricalna was a bit relived that finding the bank didn't prove to be a rigorous task, "Let's go in?"
His eyes traveled here and there to spot that particular bank that they were going to take a visit to. Even though he didn't have to, he felt the need to do so. Sure, he would often fall asleep out of the blue, but that was only when it came to school. When he was needed, he was awake, eyes wide open for anything that may get in his way.
Minato spotted something, a rather old building. It resembled the bank that he had seen in the city. Taking a brief glance over at Ricalna, he suddenly heard his voice. He, too, believed that it was the bank and that caused his head to nod, indicating that going inside would be a good thing. Besides, there will be light and they will have money for enough of them. If not, then he'll hand it over to Ricalna. He could manage without food, he thought.
He began to turn on his heel to make it to the bank, though he made sure not to quicken his pace as he didn't want to rush Ricalna into speeding up.
Ricalna studied the bank, for just a few more seconds, until he saw Minato head over towards the building. He was quick to follow up; rather, it was easy to catch up since he was much taller, thus took longer strides than Minato.
Up the stairs and at the entrance, he pulled open the somewhat heavy door, and stepped aside to let Minato in first with a smile on Ricalna's lips. He then stepped in right after the other had did so. Inside the bank was relatively huge, lines of Joie de Vivre's civilians everywhere, with a bank-employee helping one at a time at the counters.
"Hm, that's quite a line everywhere," Ricalna pointed out the obvious just as he chuckled a little, "Hopefully the currency exchange line isn't so crowded."
[ Ehhh, I have work pretty much all weekend. So my replies will be a bit slow and super late at night. I thought I might let you know so you wouldn't think I'm ignoring this log. LOL ;; ]
[ Thanks for letting me know ~ Take your time, though since I'm always here. ROFL. ]
Seeing that Ricalna was much quicker than him due to the obvious height difference, Minato knew that he shouldn't worry about leaving the other behind, rather he should be worrying about catching up. However, he was taking things at his own pace and it was a good thing that he wasn't the sluggish type of person or he would have a problem catching up to begin with.
Noticing that Ricalna had held the door out for him, he managed a small smile before muttering a soft "thank you" just before he walked through those doors. The moment he had entered, the first thing he had noticed was how there were so many people lined up. Joie de Vivre was so quiet that one wouldn't guess that a building like this would be filled

Searching to and fro for the currency line, Ricalna found that he didn't have to look too hard. Since Minato had raised a hand, and pointed at a single line, which had the sign reading 'Currency Exchange' over it that couldn't have been more obvious. "Good job, Minato." Ricalna grinned and gave the younger boy a 'thumbs-up' motion with his hand.
Ricalna then made his way over to the end of the line, making sure that he hadn't lost Minato within the crowd, and then stood in place and awaited for their turn. Luckily, this service's line wasn't as long as some of the other lines were in this building.
