I got it, devoured it, pointed out a few things, and sent it back begging for chapter three like the shameless person that I am. -smirks-
Soon enough he'll realize the mushy part is required if he wants a girl like Rin. Or he won't and the story will take a rather interesting turn I suppose. XD;
It is! This is the reason I tend to handwave so much. Describing a waltz is an utter pain! I tend to be very "talk talk talk talk" Oh they're still dancing guys, don't forget that. "talk talk talk talk" when I try to write it. It's rather sad and pathetic really.
Um, let's see - finished Clash of Kings! Dizzzamn was that crazy. Tyrion is a brilliant little man, that's all I have to say. And also, was not expecting Lord Tywin to show up at the end/WTF was with the whole Renly's ghost bit? *confused* So Stannis has half of Renly's force, Joffrey has the other half, and the Starks...are fighting three enemies instead of two, and are cut off from their lands. *sadface* When do we get a Robb POV? I wanna know what's happening with my favorite King in the North. Well, maybe he and Dany'll team up. Wouldn't that be awesome? Also - YAY FOR DEAD THEON. God, I hated that guy since the first book.
Flipped through Storm of Swords briefly, noticed that Jaime gets his own POV chapters now, which pleases me. He's kind of awesome in a sociopathic, incestuous douchebag sort of way. I dunno why I like him - it might be his actor's sheer charisma score, I don't even knoooow.
I dare you to make Seifer start breakdancing in the middle of it for the sake of it. Double points for the Chicken Dance or Macarena!
I think the plot recycling is intentional as a homage to the older games. ;X (I, III, and V have the same "steal the crystals!" bit going for them) Also, a whole lot more about the crystals from all four of those games is explained near the end... Something that they've never bothered with before.
