You give what I missed so much when I worked tediously my way through Specter of the Past/Vision of the future. For me, it's just the right extension of the brittle/tough Mara of the first trilogy.

Thanks! I like that you use the word 'brittle' to describe Mara -- it's very apt. It's the element that's missing from a lot of portrayals of her, in my opinion.
